Start for fifty squid

Rolling monthly contract. Cancel any time with one month's notice. The website remains the property of 50 Squid Sites and goes offline if you leave. Your domain stays yours. Online shops are not included.

Quick questions

Why "squid"?

Because fifty quid sounded too sensible. Squid is British slang for pounds, and it gave us an excellent mascot.

What if I want to leave?

No problem. It's a rolling monthly contract, so you can cancel any time with one month's notice. Think of it like renting: the website belongs to us, which is how we keep it at fifty squid. When you leave, it goes offline and can't be bought out or transferred.

Who owns my domain?

You do. It's registered to you. We just need access so we can manage it and point it at your site.

What can I change each month?

One update a month, such as new prices, photos or opening hours. No set limits on pages, just reasonableness. Online shops aren't included.

How quickly will my site be live?

In most cases within 14 days, as long as you approve the drafts without needing further amendments.

Are there any extra charges?

No. There's no setup fee and no VAT to add, so £50 a month is all you pay. No hidden extras.
